Viticulture Class Project

For my viticulture class I was given a grape vine.  Then for a project I recorded its growth from January to April.  To conclude the project I had to identify what grape variety I had.  I'm pretty sure it's Cabernet Sauvignon.  I sketched one of the leaves and then gave it color on adobe illustrator.

    This is an awesome drawing. How can you tell what plant it is?

    I can tell because the new growth has a bronze color and the leaves' veins, lobes and general shape.
